Port Harcourt – Fubara Siminialaye, Rivers State Accountant-General recently declared wanted by the EFCC for
an alleged misappropriation of N117 billion has emerged winner
of the PDP governorship primary election held in Port Harcourt onWednesday.
Siminalaye, a close ally of the incumbent Governor Nyesom Wike scored 721 votes to defeat his closest rival, Isac Kamalu who polled 89 votes.
The PDP governorship candidate in the coming 2023 general elections is wanted by the EFCC over suspected N117 billion fraud, alleged criminal conspiracy, money laundering, and misappropriation of public funds and abuse of office. (vitalnews)
