All the 109 senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have donated N109m to victims of the ‘accidental’ bombing in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of the Kaduna State.
The amount donated represented the December salaries of all the Senators.
The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, announced this at the Kaduna Government House on Sunday when he led a high-power delegation of the Senate members to the state.
The Senators were received by the state governor, Senator Uba Sani.
The Kaduna State Government had said the Nigerian Army claimed responsibility for dropping bomb on Tudun Biri which left no fewer than 100 villagers dead penultimate Sunday.
