The Senator Representing Taraba South Senatorial District , Sen. David Jimkuta has distributed empowerment materials worth N2 billion to his constituents.
Inaugurating the items in Wukari, headquarters of Wukari Local Government on Monday, Sen. Jimkuta said the exercise was aimed at appreciating the support and encouragement of his constuents.
He said the first person to be appreciated is his political godfather, Chief David Kente who received a 2025 Toyota Prado Jeep worth N250 million.
He said that the car gift to his boss, Chief David Kente was also to mark 60th Birthday of the Political godfather who has stood by him from the formative years in politics.
According to the Senator, he has similarly rolled out a total of 70 cars, 40 Tricycle-Pickups, and 150 motorcycle in appreciation of supporters.
He said other items include 100 sewing machines, 40 Industrial Sewing machines, 25 car washing machines, 30 irrigation pumping machines and 100 grinding machines.
Speaking at the occasion,the Chairman of DSK Foundation,Chief David Kente said that he was surprised by the gift from Sen. Jimkuta whom he described as worthy polical son.
While commending the Senator for the efforts he has made so far, Kente urged him to brace up for more service to the people. (vitalnewsngr.com)
