The news of her death was announced on Saturday by Femi Davies, Publisher of Metro News, via his social media platform.
St. Janet whose real name is Iyun Janet Ajilore reportedly died after a brief illness.
She was widely known for her energetic stage performances and distinctive style of music that earned her a strong following over the years.
Her family is yet to issue an official statement on her sudden death .
