Osun – The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission has said it will conduct the local government elections across the state on October 15, 2022.
The Chairman of the Commission, Olusegun Oladuntan made this known at a press briefing in Osogbo on Monday.
Oladuntan said the Commission is now operating the newly passed and assented Osun State electoral act 2022 which was passed by the State Assembly.
He said the Commision has also held parley with the political parties to brief them on the process.
