Lagos – The Lagos State Police Command said that Sylvester Oromoni, the 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos died a natural death.
The state Commissioner of police, Mr Hakeem Odumosu disclosed this in Lagos on Friday during a press conference.
According to him, two autopsy results,; the one from the deceased student’s family and that of all the parties involved and the Lagos State government showed that Sylvester died a natural death.
He further stated that the results of separate toxicology tests carried out in Delta and Lagos States did not point out any sign of murder on the body of the student.
The Commissioner disclosed that 13 pathologists and consultants from all the parties involved were present during the conduct of the autopsy test in Lagos.
Odumosu, however, stated that a Coroner Inquest would still be carried out on the cause of the death of the student.
He warned those planning to protest the outcome of investigations into Oromoni’s death to do so within the confine of the law or be ready to face the full wrath of the law.(vitalnews)
