Okun Group Commends Sen. Karimi, Hon. Abejide, Hon. Salman Idris For Quality Representation

Okun People’s Front, a political group of Okun Yoruba people in Kogi State says it is pleased with the quality of representations being offered by the trio of Senator Sunday Karimi, Hon. (Elder) Leke Abejide, and Arch. Salman Idris at the national assembly.

National President of Okun People’s Front gave the national legislators a pass mark in a statement in Lokoja on Saturday.

He said the decision to commend the national legislators was taken at the group’s extraordinary National Executive Council meeting held on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Abereoran said the organization during the meeting thoroughly reviewed various issues, including the performance of its legislators and then came up with the decision.

He said Karimi, Abejide and Salman have performed exceptionally well since their election to the national assembly in 2023.

Senator Karimi is the Senator, representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the Senate while Hon. Abejide and Hon. Salman are representing Yagba Federal and Kabba/Ijumu federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

According to Abereoran, infrastructural development, women empowerment, manpower development, supply of agricultural implements, establishment of a military formation in Egbe, scholarships for indigent students, and provision of “Stomach Infrastructure”, are some the areas the legislators have recorded outstanding. achievements.

“Additionally, they are approachable and attentive to the needs of the people.

“We commend the synergy among the legislators and urge them to continue fostering such collaboration.

“It is important to remind all elected officials that a day of accountability will come.

“Therefore, they should strive to leave behind a good name and a lasting legacy.
