As part of its healthcare improvement plans, the Forum announced the renovation of a health center in Offa.

“This project will enhance healthcare infrastructure and ensure better access to quality care for our community,” Dr Odunola stated.

The Forum also unveiled a scholarship scheme for indigent medical students of Offa origin.

“A sum of 100,000 naira will be awarded to deserving 200-level medical students from Offa who are indigent.

“This initiative underscores our commitment to education and empowerment,” he added.

In addition, the Forum plans to collaborate with the Offa Descendants Union of North America (ODUNA) on its 2025 activities and mobilize doctors for the program.

Dr. Odunola emphasized the Forum’s commitment to enhancing members’ welfare, expanding its membership database by 75 per cent, and improving compliance with dues payments to support more projects.

“Our focus is to build a stronger community of professionals dedicated to providing better healthcare and support for our people,” he said.

The Forum pledged to sustain its collaborative efforts and community outreach programs to further impact the lives of Offa residents and beyond. (vitalnewsngr.com)
