Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, says his administration has commenced execution of 170 Micro Projects under the Nigeria Community Action For Resilience and Action and Economic stimulus (NG-CARES).
The governor who stared this at in Monday at Okene said that no fewer than 200,000 will benefit from the projects which spread across the state.
Ododo spoke at the opening of a training programme organised for Community and Group Project Management Committees of some of the projects in Okene.
He said the projects when fully executed will have direct impact on the live of the people, especially those living in grassroot areas.
The governor was represented at the event by the General Manager, KCSDA, Mallam Dauda Momoh.
The governor assured that people and development would continue to be top priority of his administration.
The General Manager, in his remarks, said the administration of Gov Ododo is resolved to bringing development to the doorsteps of the people.
He explained that the projects includes 😯 Community/Group Development Plan identified for support, is proposed to have 200,000 beneficiaries.
He said according to the Agency’s work plan, the Community Development Plan is scheduled to be fully implemented and functional by September, 2024.
He urged the Community Implementation Committee’s of the projects to adhere to the specifications, pointing out that, the agency would sanction and blacklist defaulters.
The General Manager commended the present administration for providing funds needed for the NG:CARES, which was the reason why the project implementation is unhindered.
He assured that the projects all ongoing across the State would be completed at the expected time and delivered for commissioning. (vitalnewsngr.com)
