The newly redesigned Nigerian currency the Naira is due for unveiling on Wednesday, November 23 at Abuja.
Information available indicates that the new Naira notes will be brought to the Federal Executive Council where the Central Bank Governor Mr. Godwin Emefiele, is expected to give details of the new designs.
“By tomorrow 23rd, November the new currency will be unveiled and ready for circulation from therefrom.
“Banks are mandated to receive old cash and issue out the new ones from Mondays to Saturdays.
“By January, 31st 2023 all old notes will lose their legal tendancy ,” CBN Governor
