The late Awujale of Ijebuland land, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona will be buried today, July 14, 2025 in his personal residence, Ogbagba Court, Igbeba, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
The burial is scheduled to hold at 4pm.
The revered traditional ruler who died at 91 years and ruled for 65 years joined his ancestors on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 91.
Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, Secretary to the Ogun State Government announced the burial plans in a statement in Abeokuta.
Talabi urged residents to remember the family of the revered monarch in their prayers.
