“For the society to become more conducive for all and sundry to live, there is need for social inclusion that cuts across every strata.
“This is the reason why Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu added Social Inclusion as a developmental pillar to the T.H.E.M.E.S plus Agenda.
” It is to ensure that everyone, irrespective of their background,is given a sense of belonging in Lagos State,” the Commissioner said.

Ogunlende described the project as”laudable, incredible, giant stride and breaking the glass ceiling.
“The Ministry of Youth and Social Development will continue to partner with individuals and organisations in the area this social inclusion.
“This is a listening government ready to listen to the public. The event of today should spark conversation on how to better the lot of the downtrodden in our society.”
On her part, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mrs Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu commended Triangle Nigeria for identifying with the motherless children by presenting Home Cinema to them.
According to her, this will make them have a sense of belonging like their counterparts in the regular family.
Speaking on behalf of Triangle Nigeria, Co-founder,Mr Kehinde Awoyinfa said the idea of presenting Home Cinema to the Motherless Home was borne out of the desire to use technology to connect people and make a positive difference in their lives.
He said the presentation was part of activities to mark the fifth year anniversary of the organisation.
In their goodwill messages, Representative of Lions Club, retired AVM Anthony Ekpere and Ekiti State Commissioner for Finance,Mr Akintunde Oyebode commended Triangle Nigeria for their kind gesture towards the needy , describing the gesture as social consciousness and awareness on their part.
They then called on other well-meaning Nigerians to support the Ministry of Youth and Social Development in its drive to help the less privileged in the society. (vitalnewsngr.com)
