Ago-Oja town is in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The body of the woman was found on Ojoku road by a team of local vigilante and traditional hunters set up to locate and rescue her.

The deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Her trouble started when she was kidnapped from her husband house on April 19.

The kidnappers had invaded the house to kidnap her husband said to be successful cattle dealer but met only the woman and her four children at home.

The kidnappers then abducted the woman and left her children, including a four-month old baby untouched.

The traditional ruler of Ago-Oja, Chief Daudu Salaudeen Arolu, while speaking on the incident confirmed that a part of the N6million ransom demanded by kidnappers for her released was delivered to them few hours before the discovery of the decomposing body of the woman.

He said the kidnappers called the relations of the woman last week Friday to demand the ransom.

Arolu said the kidnappers after receiving a part of the ransom promised to release her at Eiyekonrin town but later changed it Ogbomoso town in Oyo State.

He said all efforts made to locate her proved abortive until this morning when her decomposing body was discovered on Ojoku road. (vitalnewsngr.com)
