Kogi State Co-ordinator of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Dr Olufemi Bolarin has congratulated the state Governor-Elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the last Saturday’s governorship election.
Bolarin in a statement made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Monday said the victory is cheery and a clear indication that Kogi Agenda has come to stay.
According to the Project Co-ordinator, the victory is coming at a time when the state needed a tested and trusted man that will sustain the legacies of the new Direction administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
“On behalf of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), I wish to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Kogi State Governor-Elect and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Comrade Joel Oyibo on their well deserved victory at the November 11th Governorship election in the State,” Bolarin said.
He noted with satisfaction that the election was peaceful, free and credible, urging other contestants to accept the result as an act of God because only Him gives power.
The Project Co-ordinator also congratulated the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the successful conduct of the election and described him as a Game Changer.
While expressing confidence in the incoming successor of Governor Bello, Bolarin assured that his office will continue to add value to the state , particularly in the Agricultural sector, more importantly Catalytic Intervention Projects on Livestock Productivity and support to the Value-Chain Actors as well as Agricultural Institutions to enhance sustainable food security in the State.
