The Kogi APC Governorship Campaign Council has debunked rumour making the round that its campaign Director -General, Shuaibu Abubakar Audu has been distributing recharge cards that will automatically deactivate the voter’s cards of the beneficiaries.

Kingsley Femi Fanwo , Spokesman, of the APC Governorship Campaign Council described the claim as ludicrous and a complete falsehood.

“It is pertinent to set the record straight to save the unsuspecting public from the unbridled propaganda of the opposition.

“Their intent is to create panic, spread falsehood and make it look like Kogi is at war.

“They know they can’t win any election here because the people of Kogi State know the leaders they trust.

“Our Director General, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has a reputation of transparency and respect for the rule of law.

“He possesses a capacity to be trusted and followed by the people.

“He does not need to contemplate any foul means of winning election when his pedigree, antecedents, track record and family background place him on a comfortable pedestal to ensure his people remain with the party that has served them so well and that will do better and more for the people at all levels,” Fanwo said

He called on the people of the state to disregard the rumour, describing it as a figment of the imagination of the scripters of the fiction.

“Our party will win a free, fair and credible election on November 11,” Fanwo said. (vitalnewsngr.com)
