A Spokesperson for the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan says the massive turn out of Nigerians in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, at the official flag off of the party’s Presidential Campaign yesterday is a clear indication of victory for the Party next year.
He said the massage ve crowd that came out to receive the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, was unprecedented and a confirmation of his earlier statement that Atiku Abubakar has majority of voters in Nigeria on his side.
Ologbodiyan in a statement on Tuesday stressed that the Uyo rally is following on the heels of similar massive turnout and acceptance of the Atiku/Okowa ticket in Kano, Ibadan, Enugu, Gombe and other parts of the country where Nigerians have rallied in support of the flagbeares.
He said The PDP has therefore commenced it’s movement to Aso Rock and that Nigerians have suffered untold woes under the current leadership.
Ologbondiyan maintained that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has the required experience and capacity to rescue and rebuild Nigeria.
“He knows and understands the nuances of the nation and would carry every part of the nation along,” he said.
