President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed the optimism that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the November 11, 2023 givernorship election in Kogi State.

Tinubu expressed the optimism on Thursday in Abuja while presenting the flag of the APC to Ahmed Usman Ododo, the candidate of the party in the governorship election.

While hoping that Kogi State will remain under the control of APC after the election, President Tinubu
charged party leaders to continue to work hard to give the party a resounding victory.

He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for making the party a formidable force in Kogi State, hoping that this will translate to victory for the party on November 11.

Governor Alh. Yahaya Bello, CON, led a delegation of Campaign Council leaders and party stalwarts to the flag presentation event at the Villa.

The Director-General of the Campaign Council and the Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, and the State Party Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, were among the top party leaders who witnessed the historic presentation.

The National Chairman of the Party, Dr Umar Ganduje also graced the occasion.

The APC governorship candidate, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo in his remark thanked President Tinubu for throwing his weight behind him.

He assured Tinubu that there will be peace before, during and after the election.

“We urge all party leaders and esteemed members to continue to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in Kogi APC by Mr President,” he said.
