The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Prof Abayomi Sunday Fasina, has felicitated with the Pro-Chancellor/Chairman Governing Council of the institution, Distinguished Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, as he turns 69.

The statement reads : “On behalf of the management, staff and students of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), I wholeheartedly congratulate our indefatigable, dynamic and proactive Pro-Chancellor/Chairman Governing Council, Distinguished Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, OFR, CON, SAN, on the occasion of his 69th birthday.

“As you clock 69 today, you deserve all the joy of the world for the remarkable roles you have played (and continue to play) in service to humanity, nation-building, and sustenance of democracy.

“Today, at FUOYE, in just about three months of your appointment as our Pro-Chancellor, we’ve begun to feel the positive impact of your headship of the Governing Council, especially with the steps you have taken towards guiding us on how to effectively manage the university’s exponential growth and ensure sustainability.

“We are indeed happy to have you as FUOYE Pro-Chancellor, as we rejoice with you on this special occasion of your birthday.

“We pray God Almighty to grant you many more years of fruitfulness, fulfilment, sound health of mind and body.

“Happy birthday, Distinguished Senator.”
