FUOYE Achieves Significant Growth In Research Output On Scopus

Federal University Oye-Ekiti has made remarkable strides in academic research, as reflected in its increasing number of publications indexed on Scopus.
According to data obtained from Scopus in January 2025, FUOYE boasts over 2,180 published articles with contributions from 947 authors.
The research output of the university has experienced consistent growth over the years.
In 2020, FUOYE recorded 204 articles on Scopus. This number significantly increased to 342 in 2021, 347 in 2022, and 369 in 2023.
The trend continued in 2024, with FUOYE achieving its highest annual publication count of 413 articles.
This steady rise in research publications highlights the commitment of FUOYE to academic excellence, innovation, and global knowledge contribution.
A key driving force behind this achievement is the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, whose administration has prioritized research development, faculty engagement, and international collaborations.
