Former Minister, Tanimu Turaki, Emerges Northern PDP Consensus Candidate As National Chairman

Northern stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have formally endorsed Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, as consensus candidate for the position of National Chairman.

Tanimu was Nigeria’s former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs

His adoption was the outcome of intensive consultations during the just concluded Northern PDP stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja.

The Northern PDP leaders, had micro zone the national chairman position to the North-West geopolitical zone to promote regional balance and party cohesion.
