A former INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner ( REC) in Ekiti State, Chief (Mrs) Olusola Ayoka Adebayo (JP), is dead.
The former REC died on Saturday, 18 May, 2024, at the age of 88.
It would be recalled that at the celebration of her 86th birthday in October 2021, she narrated how she escaped death by the whiskers twice within the year, thanking God for bringing her back to life after she slumped.
Mrs Adebayo said then that the incident was enough to roll out the drums to appreciate God for His mightiness in her life.
She spoke during the family thanksgiving service put in place to celebrate her 86th birthday anniversary at her residence in Agbeloba Area of Abeokuta, Ogun State, which had former President Olusegun Obasanjo among the guests present.
