The final funeral ceremony of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Lamidi Olayiwola Atanda Adeyemi Alowolodu 111. JP, LLD, CFR, the Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom will hold on June 4, 2022 at the ancient town of Oyo.
The date is as agreed upon by
the entire members of the Royal Families and the Oyo State government under His Excellency, Governor Oluwaseyi Makinde.
Venue of the ceremony is Oyo Palace Ground for the Royal families guests, Durbar Stadium for Oyo State Government while Labamba Hotel is for the immediate Children of His Imperial Majesty and their guests.
It will be recalled that Oba Adeyemi joined his ancestors on April 22, this year after spending 52 years on the throne of his forefathers . (vitalnews)
