Ex-INEC Director, Ahmed Biambo Is Dead

A former Director at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Alhaji Ahmed Biambo is dead.

He died on Monday, November 21 in his Tegina, Rafi Local Government home in Niger State and was buried same day according to Islamic rites.

Biambo was until his retirement in December 2020 the Director of Voter Education and Publicity in the Lokoja, Kogi State office of INEC.

Before then, Biambo had served INEC meritoriously in various positions in different parts of the country.

The late Director who hailed from Uregi community in Rafi Local Government is survived by a wife, Hajiya Bilkisu Ahmed Biambo, a former President of All Nigeria Conference of Secondary School Principals (ANCOPSS), five children and seven grandchildren.
