Abuja – The Department of State Services (DSS)said on Saturday that the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele is not in its custody.
The Spokesman for the DSS , Dr Peter Afunanya, made the clarification in a statement in Abuja.
“Currently, Emefiele is not with the DSS,” Afunanya said.
The statement from Afunanya was in response to reports by a section of the media that Emefiele was arrested by the DSS after being suspended indefinitely from on Friday by President Bola Tinubu.
