Lagos-based Kogi State born entrepreneur, Engr. Sylvanus Babatunde Elewa has congratulated the Governor-Elect, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo on his victory at the just concluded governorship election in the state.
Ododo, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was declared the winner of Kogi state Governorship election that was held on Saturday November 11.
Elewa, in a press statement signed and made available to newsmen on Monday in Lokoja described the victory of Ododo as timely and God ordained.
He said : ” I congratulate the Leader of our party in Kogi state, Governor Yahaya Bello giving us a sellable candidate.
“Gov. Bello made the work easier for us by bringing Alh. Ododo as the candidate of our party.
“I thank the people of Kogi West for making Alh. Ododo’s victory a dream come true.
“God has rewarded the hard works of the All Progressives Congress with this landslide victory and it’s very difficult for opposition parties to contest.
“I specially congratulate Alh. Usman Ododo on this historic victory, we have an assurance that your time as the Governor of Kogi state will bring more development to all the sectors in Kogi state.”
Elewa , who had before the election canvassed Okun’s support for the candidature of Usman Ododo assured that Okunland will benefit greatly from the government of Ododo.
He said : “I want to thank my people from Kogi West for turning in massive votes for APC.
“As a Nation, Okun has fulfilled their own part, Its time to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
“I can assure you that Alhaji Ododo will reward your labour with good things.”
Elewa, concluded by telling opposition candidates and the aggrieved parties to join hands with Alh. Ododo and bring more transformation to Kogi state.
