Elections : Lagos Deputy Speaker Lauds Voters On Peaceful Conduct

Lagos – Hon. Wasiu Eshinlokun, Deputy Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly has commended voters for conducting themselves peacefully at the polling units.

Eshinlokun while casting his vote at Ward C 01, Lagos Island described the election process in his area as simple and peaceful.

He made the disclosure in Lagos on Saturday.

Eshinlokun who is also contesting for Lagos Central Senatorial District for All Progressive Congress (APC) commended the INEC officials for keeping to time and being professionals.

“The INEC officials are efficient and then people who came out to vote are also patient.

“They have been peaceful and they are conducting themselves in a very orderly manner. Kudos to them and we thank them very much for coming out to vote” he said.

Eshinlokun commended the turnout of voters and expressed hope that more voters would still turn out to cast their votes.

He also expressed hope that the All Progressives Congress candidates would be victorious in the general elections.

“Well, it’s just starting, more people will still come out and it will continue like that till we have a full house.

“As for the electorates, we have been doing this together, they know what to expect.

“We will give Lagos residents efficient and effective representation and we will continue to bring development project to our people,” he said.

Eshinlokun commended the INCE officials for prompt present which he said had reduced crowd at the voting centres.
