The Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Okene, Kogi State, has appointed Dr.Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale as the substantive Provost of the College.
The appointment takes effect from 27th September, 2025.
Jibril Abdulrahaman, Director of Information/ Public Relations of the institution announced the appointment in a statement on Thursday.
The statement said the Governing Council approved the appointment during a meeting held to consider the appointment of a substantive Provost for the college.
The new Provost, Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale was until his appointment, a member of the College Governing Council, representing the Academic Board and also the Director of Examination.
He is also a Chief Lecturer in the department of social studies.
Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale, who hailed from Ogori, Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State was born on June 30, 1968.

He holds the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1991 and was at the Ahmadu Bello University from 1993 to 1997, where he bagged a Bachelor’s degree of Education, in Social studies.
Subsequently, he bagged both his Masters and Ph.d from the University of Benin. (vitalnewsngr.com)
