The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, on Tuesday paid a visit to Tudun Biri village, Kaduna State, where the Nigerian Army drone strikes on Sunday night led to the death of over 90 civilians during Maulud celebration.
The airstrikes also left many injured villagers hospitalised.
Gen. Lagbaja also used the opportunity to attend the burial of the deceased villagers.
The Nigerian Army had on Monday accepted responsibility for the drone strike which led to the death of Maulud celebrants in the village.
Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu had ordered a thorough investigation into the incident. (vitalnewsngr.com)
