Bello’s aide establishes foundation, distributes free JAMB forms to 300 candidates

Lokoja – A Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Yahaya Adesayo Ismail has established a non-governmental organization, The Adeismail Foundation (TAF).

According to him, the foundation is to focus on social security, welfare of neighbourhood organizations, welfare of young people, the needy and the less privilege in its immediate environment.

The Foundation is also expected to expand to the larger society in a long run.

” The Adeismail Foundation is equally equipped to identify talented youths across her jurisdictions, to galvanize necessary support for them in order to bring out the best of these unnoticed potentials,” he said.

Meanwhile, a statement from the Publicity and Media office of the foundation said an 11-Man committee has been set up to manage the affairs of the NGO.

They are Hon. Funsho Olumoko, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Basorun Asiru Idris, Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Planning , Director of Finance, Hon Wemi Jones, Kogi State Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Director of Research and Planning, while Dr. Oladele John Nihi, Vice President West Africa Pan-African Youth Union (PYU) is the Director of Public Affairs.

Others in the team are Alhaji Ibrahim Shola Aliyu, Director of Administration, representatives of the National Association of Kogi State Student (NAKOSS), National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), and Women Affairs Official.

The Adeismail Foundation has also approved the appointment of Otunba Shuaib Ipinmisho as the Director -General of the foundation, while Ms. Maryam Yahaya Ismail was appointed Secretary.

The Board at its inaugural meeting ratified a landmark decision to buy free JAMB forms for over 300 candidates who are indigenes of Ijumu Local Government Area.

The distribution of the forms to the beneficiaries commenced on Monday, February 21, 2022.

The Director -General while distributing the free JAMB forms said that the programme was packaged to commemorate the flag-off of ADEISMAIL 4 GYB2PYB National Awareness Campaign that is billed to take place at Ayegunle Gbede in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State in no distance future.

The brain behind the foundation, Comrade Yahaya Adesayo Ismail in his remarks expressed his readiness to commit himself to thorough community development services using The Adeismail Foundation (TAF) as viable platform to impact his people positively, and adequately.(vitalnews)
