President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday departed Saudi Arabia for Abuja, Nigeria.
The president is expected back in the country later this evening.
Tinubu, had on Monday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, called for an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza; in a paper he presented at the summit.
He also suggested a two – state solution to the Israeli / Palestinian conflict, saying the conflict had dragged for too long.
Accompanying the President on his advocacy for renewed efforts to revive the two-state solution as a pathway to lasting peace in the region were the Minister of foreign affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris; and the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Amb. Mohammed Mohammed.
