Lokoja – As the presidential primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) draws near, supporters of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello of Kogi State have held a special Islamic prayer session to aid his victory at the primary holding on May 30.

The supporters, residing in Otokiti, Shetima, Barracks,Sango and other areas of Lokoja, the state Capital, converged at the Shetima Mosque on Thursday where they recitated the whole Qur’an for the governor to emerge winner of the APC presidential Primary.

Bello’s success at the primary will give him the honour and right to contest as the Presidential candidate of his party, win the election and become the next Nigerian President.

Speaking after the prayer session and recitation of the Qur’an, the Imam of Shetima Mosque, Alh Muhammed Jamiu Abdulazeez said the prayer was to ask the Almighty Allah to intercede on behalf of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in his presidential ambition.
