The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Duro Meseko on Tuesday played host to Ojo Olorunleke, one of the Super Eagles goal keepers to the just concluded AFCON in Cote d”Ivoire.
Meseko hosted Ojo Olorunleke at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja shortly after the treated to an official reception at the Aso Rock.
Ojo Olorunleke hails from Kabba/Bunu Local Government in Kogi State where Meseko also hailed from.
Staff members and well wishers at the APC secretariat joined Meseko to receive his august visitor .
Speaking, Hon. Duro Meseko congratulated the Super Eagle’s Goal Keeper and his team mates for coming second in the football competition.
He said the country is proud of the team’s performance at the tournament, applauding them for their commitment to upholding the nation’s pride.
In his response, the Goal Keeper said Hon Meseko has been a philanthropist and generous giver for decades, recalling when he received a sum of N50,000 from him to purchase his first football boot while still playing at the local level in Kogi State several years ago.
Showering praises on Hon Meseko, he decorated him with the silver medal and thanked him for all he has been doing for his people at home.
