Akure – Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on Tuesday announced his decision to embarked on a 21-day medical trip abroad.
Akeredolu, who confirmed this in a letter to the Ondo State House of Assembly said the medical leave started on June 7 and will end on July 6.
The Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji read the letter on the floor of the house to other members.
Oladiji said the house had received a medical leave letter from governor, stating that the governor had embarked on a 21-day leave for medical treatment abroad starting from 7th of June, 2023 to 6th July, 2023.
“The Governor directed his Deputy, Hon.Lucky Aiyedatiwa to act as the Governor,” the Speaker said.(vitalnewsngr.com)
