Ilorin – The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Joint Border Patrol Team has seized 107 smuggled items with a duty paid value of N139,707,500 million naira .
The Coordinator of the Joint Border Patrol Team Sector 3 ,for North Central, Olugboyega Peters stated this while showcasing the achievements of the team in Ilorin the Kwara State Capital.

He said the team also intercepted three illegal immigrants between the ages of 16 and 18 years around Babanna axis while being trafficked to Burkina -Faso.
Peters explained that during the period, the team seized 3,068 kegs of 25 litres of petrol,16 fairly used vehicles , 550 bags of foreign parboiled rice, and 44 Bales of secondhand clothes.

According to him, other items seized Include 16 sacks of secondhand shoes, cartons of foreign tomatoes,as well as five Motorcycles.
He warned those using official vehicles to perpetrate smuggling to desist.
