President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State on the demise of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo who died on Monday, August 18, 2025 at the age of 83 years.
President Tinubu described the deceased as a respected community leader whose legacy is evident in the accomplishments of the children he nurtured.
The President, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, urged Governor Ododo, his family, and the entire Ododo clan to take solace in their patriarch’s life of service to God and the moral and religious values that guided him.
He extended prayers to the Ododo family, their loved ones and the people of Kogi State.
The President said his thoughts and prayers are with the Ododo family, friends, and the people of Kogi State as they mourn the deceased.
Alhaji Momohsani died on Monday after the 2 pm Muslim prayers at 83.
President Tinubu prays for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed and God’s comfort for the bereaved family, friends and associates.
