The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN), Kwara State chapter, has commended the Etsu of Patigi, Alhaji (Dr.) Umaru Bologi II, for his steady commitment to peace, unity, and grassroots development as he marks six years on the throne.
Speaking in Ilorin, the State Coordinator of RIFAN, Mallam Muhammed Salihu, described the Etsu’s reign as a blessing to the people of Patigi Emirate and Kwara North at large.
He highlighted the monarch’s role in sustaining cultural heritage, promoting social cohesion, and backing initiatives that directly impact the lives of his people.
“His Royal Highness has shown uncommon dedication to the welfare of his people through his support for education, youth empowerment, and harmonious coexistence,” Salihu said.
“His style of leadership continues to inspire hope and encourage progress across the emirate,” he said.
The RIFAN coordinator further praised the Etsu of Patigi, who also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, for upholding the dignity of the traditional institution and fostering development without compromising cultural values.
“As you mark this memorable anniversary, I join the good people of Kwara North and beyond to pray for your continued wisdom, strength, and good health to steer the affairs of the emirate to greater heights,” Salihu added.
The message underscores the growing recognition of traditional institutions as critical partners in community development and social stability across the state.
