Dantawaye Decorates Three New ACPs In Kogi

The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, Mr Miller Dantawaye, has formally decorated three senior officers who have been promoted from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to the new rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).

Spokesman of the Kogi State Police Command, SP William Aya in a statement said the promotion was in recognition of the officers’ dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service,

The newly promoted officers include are ACP Emmanuel Ojo, Area Commander Ayingba, ACP Peter Essien, and ACP Ali Anslem, AC Operations.

At the decoration ceremony which was held at the Kogi State Police Command Headquarters in Lokoja, Dantawaye charged the officers to see their new rank as a call to greater responsibility, leadership, and service to the nation.

He congratulated them on their well-deserved promotion, emphasizing that their elevation is a recognition of their hard work, discipline, and dedication to duty.

The Commissioner encouraged them to always approach their assignments with diligence and professionalism.

He also urged them to work with commitment, and cooperate effectively with the Command’s Management Team to enhance security and maintain law and order in the state.

Dantawaye also charged the officers not to relent in their efforts, remain vigilant, and lead by example, stressing that no distress situation should arise from their jurisdictions under their watch.

The ceremony was attended by senior officers, family members, and well-wishers, who gathered to celebrate this significant career milestone.

The Kogi State Police Command remains steadfast in its mission to promote professionalism, reward excellence, and ensure that officers are motivated to serve with integrity, courage, and dedication.

The promotion of these officers reflects the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to recognizing and uplifting deserving personnel who demonstrate outstanding performance and leadership qualities.

The Command urges the newly promoted officers to continue upholding the highest standards of policing, as they assume new responsibilities in their respective capacities.
