Abuja – The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam says the quest for a better country should be pursued collectively by all Nigerians, irrespective of their religious beliefs.

Pam said this in Abuja while receiving a delegation of The Father’s House Reality TV Project.

“Let us come together to solve the problem facing the country regardless of our faith, it is our duty to bring back our great culture,” he added.

According to the executive secretary, the advocacy for a better Nigeria should go beyond religion, but include all people of goodwill striving to make Nigeria great.

Pam charged Christians to be mindful of the programmes they watch and listen to in the media.

“Aside the positive impact of media in the society, the media has also polluted our well respected culture,” he added.

The NCPC boss advised organisers of the realty TV programme to make good use of their time and build back their relationship with God.

He said that the programme should not be only for Christians, but for all Nigerians desirous of making positive impact on the country.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Mr David Ibrahim, said that they were at the Commission to officially inform the executive secretary about the reality TV programmme for Christian youths.

He said,“ being a Christian based organisation, it is imperative to visit and inform the Commission about the forthcoming programme.”

The team leader said that the Fathers House reality show is the first faith based reality TV show in the country.

He explained that the show will have 13 selected Christian youths from different denominations to harness the multi-dimensions of grace and socio-economic challenges.

“The programme is a 40-day programme with over 200 million cumulative viewers,” Ibrahim said.

He appreciated the executive secretary for receiving them, and promised not to disappoint Christians with the content of the programme.
