Abuja – The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted the Osun State Gubernatorial Electoral Appeal Panel.
The 25-member Electoral Appeal Panel headed by the party’s national Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu is to consider appeals that may arise from the conduct of the Osun State governorship primary election.
The Appeal Panel is scheduled to sit on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the PDP National Secretariat, in Abuja.
Apart from Ayu, other members of the panel are Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Hon. Umar M. Bature, Hon. Setonji Koshoedo, Hon. Daniel Ambrose Woyengikuro, Hon. Ahmed Yayari Mohammed and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Kamaldeen Adeyemi Ajibade.
Others are Hon. Debo Ologunagba, Hon. Daniel Obi Okechukwu, Professor Stella Effa-Attoe, Prince Muhammed Kadade Suleiman, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo, Dr. Ali Obasi Odefa, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, Mr. Emmanuel Nicovoa Bovoa, Hon. Theophilus Dakas Shan and Dr. Aminu Abdullahi.
The rest are Senator Ngiji Ngele, Dr. Charles Akintoye, Alhaji Umar Hadejia, Chief Mike Oghiadohme, Senator Suleiman Adokwe, Hajiya Aishatu Ahmed and Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu who will serve as Secretary.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon. Debo Ologunagba hinted that the high-powered appeal panel would sit in the morning of Thursday, March 10.
