AN OPEN LETTER TO THE KOGI STATE ALL PROGRESSIVE

We write to you with all sense of humility and as act of love and patriotism to our great Party, APC wherein all the members find abode. This is yet another all-important and critical time in our Party as we begin another phase of electioneering towards gubernatorial election comes November 2023.

The efforts of His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello to manage the affairs of the Party so well cannot be underestimated. His Excellency is a Partyman per excellent and upright leader without any dent. We salute his leadership role and positive impact in Kogi State and in the APC.

The efforts of the members of the Party in the last concluded general elections is both noteworthy and praiseworthy. It is with great admiration we salute your efforts as the Party successfully delivered the state in the elections. Congratulations!

It is now a common knowledge by a letter dated 6th April, 2023 addressed to the INEC that the Party’s primary election slated for 14th April, 2023 is to be conducted by Direct Primary Election, which implies that all the Party’s members are expected to participate and cast their votes in the election.

As we prepare toward this important exercise, we seek the indulgence of all the Party’s faithful to present to you an aspirant who has gained so much supports and admirations across the state and within the Party. There is no doubt that all the aspirants are eminently qualified to contest and to occupy the seat of governor. However, among equals we always have “first among equals” and Pharm Abdulkareem Mohammad Jamiu is this “first among equals”.

We address you today the members of our great Party as youths, men and women who are honorable that is ready to do the right thing. We are not presenting before you an aspirant whom you cannot trust because we vouch for his honesty and trustworthiness.

Pharm Asuku is the aspirant who has shown commitment to the progress of the Party and extend goodwill and care to the great numbers of the Party’s Excos across the state. The welfare of the Party’s member is one of his priorities and he has vowed not to let the Party down. He has been trusted with critical assignments that led to the success of our great Party
and having your votes will make him bound to do more.

As we all go out on 14th April, 2023 to partake in the direct primary election in our various constituencies, we implore you to vote for Pharm Abdulkareem Mohammad Jamiu as the candidate that will fly the governorship flag of the Party come November 2023. This is a choice that you will not regret making. It is a choice that will send a message to others that one good turn deserves another.
