Lokoja – Ahead of the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign rally scheduled to hold in Lokoja, Kogi State on Saturday, January 14, a spokesman of the campaign organization, Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan has appealed to the people of the state to turn out en masse at the rally.

Ologbondiyan, made the appeal during an interview with journalists in Lokoja on Thursday.

The campaign spokesman who was also a former National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic (PDP)urged the people from different parts of the state to welcome the flag bearer of the party to the state.

According to Ologbondiyan, the rally which will take place at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja is to showcase the presidential flag bearer of the party Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa that they are the best to rescue the country from the eight years of misrule of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

He said Kogi State has always been a PDP stronghold and would remain so , saying that there was a great difference between now and when PDP was in power as the people are now wallowing in excruciating poverty in spite of the huge allocations coming to the state
