Lokoja – The Chairman of the Kogi State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adeiza Momoh Jimoh has lost his wife , Zainab , to the cold of hands of death.
Aged 46, She died in the early hours of Friday in Abuja after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband, Alhaji Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, children, an aged mother, sisters, brothers and other relations.
Her remains will arrive Lokoja and will be buried according to Islamic rites after jumat service at
unguwan Kura Muslim Cemetery, Lokoja.
Her burial will be preceded by funeral prayers to be conducted by the chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Aminu Sha’aban at Lokoja Central Mosque.
Meanwhile , Governor Yahaya Bello has condoled the Chairman of NUJ, Adeiza Momoh Jimoh over the sudden death of his wife, Zainab.
The governor in a condolence message signed by Kingsley Fanwo, the state Commissioner for information, and communications, expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mrs. Zainab Adeiza Momoh Jimoh.
According to the Commissioner, the deceased was a good homemaker and a consummate mother whose death would be felt deeply by the family.
He urged the NUJ Chairman to find comfort in the fact that his late wife lived a fulfilled life.
He urged him to accept the government’s heartfelt condolences on the death of his wife and hoped that his beautiful memories of being with her would bring him comfort during this difficult time.
Fanwo prayed to God to give the family the strength to bear the loss.
Also in a condolence message, the management and staff of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS ) commiserated with Mr Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, over the demise of his beloved wife.
The condolence was issued by Muhammad Mukhtar Idris, Head, Corporate Communications Unit, KGIRS.
“We also commiserate with the entire NUJ Members, Kogi State Chapter, over this painful loss.
“Death is inevitable, and every soul must taste it. God created death and life that he may try which of us is best in his/her deeds.
