“What we are doing here is to tell the whole world that those of us here are behind Tinubu, that we should not be afraid of few elements blackmailing him.

“But for us the leaders here, this is the man we are going with,” Sogiii said.

Also Speaking , the Kogi State Chairman of AMFON, Mallam Adamu Tukur called on leaders of Fulanis in the state to immediately commence enlightenment campaign on the decision to support Tinubu presidential ambition.

He also enjoined them to prevail on their subjects to collect their permanent voter cards so as to enable them to vote in the coming elections.

He pledged his total support for the decision to support the presidential ambition of Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC).

He, however, appealed to Tinubu to carry them along in all his political activities before and after the elections.

“Very soon political activities will kick start and we want to be in the forefront to prove our commitment as a group to be reckoned with in political participation in Nigeria,” Jolly stated.

Also speaking, the General Secretary of the association, Comrade Aliyu Ibrahim Shaibu recalled that the association was the first organisation to send a letter of support and commendation to Tinubu on his presidential ambition.

He said though, no response was received from his political organisation but Ieaders and members of AMFON are still solidly behind him in his ambition to become Nigeria’s next president in 2023.

He appealed to the APC Presidential Flagbearer not to dump the group if he eventually becomes the president as from next year.

“The aim of our gathering here today is to mobilize and ensure that he secure significant votes from us.

” We are optimistic that Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the helm of affairs in Nigeria will transform the economy through innovations and Industrialize the country to a greater heights,” he said.

Shaibu siezed the opportunity to condemn incessant killings of innocent Nigerians across the country, urging government to bring the perpetrators to book.

The AMFON Secretary also appealed to Nigerians to assist security agencies with useful information and necessary security tips to end the killings. (vitalnewsngr.com)
