Lokoja – The All Progressives Congress Campaign Council (APCCC) in Kogi State, has directed its zonal and local chapters to comply with the state Signage Law on display of campaign materials.
The council which gave the directive on Tuesday said this will help in creating awareness for the party’s candidates ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Director of Media and Publicity of the council, Kingsley Fanwo signed the statement.
Fanwo commended the State House of Assembly for passing the Signage Bill into Law , saying that it will improve Internally Generated Revenue and environmental sanity.
Fanwo, maintained that the ruling party and the campaign group would comply fully with the provisions of the law.
“The Campaign Council also wishes to call on all party faithful to conduct the election in the most peaceful manner.
“Our products are the best for Nigeria and our various constituencies.
“All we want to promote are the qualities they possess and the hope they promise,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Council, Governor Yahaya Bello, has reiterated the readiness of the party to win elections at all levels in the state.
He said efforts were on top gear at rallying Nigerian youths behind the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential ticket.
Bello, who also double as the National Youth Coordinator of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, expressed optimism that his track record in the state would deliver massively for the party, calling on all Nigerians to keep faith with Tinubu/Shettima ticket.
