Abuja – Kano Pillars are to play their remaining home matches at the the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The League Management Company (LMC) ordered the banishment on Sunday.
This new development serves as a punishment for the most recent incident of Kano Pillars’ fan violence.
LMC also slammed the team N9 million naira fine on the team for breaking NPFL rules.
In addition, three points will be deducted from the club’s total points earned so far.
The LMC took the disciplinary penalty further by prohibiting NPFL games from being played at the Sanni Abacha Stadium in Kano until further notice.
The LMC also ordered Kano Pillars to fix or replace the Katsina United FC’s team bus vandalized.
Katsina United held Kano Pillars to a scoreless draw before the home fans went on a rampage in the 82nd minute, upsetting the match and prompting the referee to impose a suspension.
The team is currently 13th on the NPFL log with 27 points.
