Benin – The Police command in Edo has confirmed that it has recovered about N37 million and five cars abandoned in a bush by suspected armed robbers that attacked some banks in Uromi on Thursday, February 24.
Mr. Phillip Ogbadu, the State Commissioner of Police confirmed this Friday evening in Benin.
He said it was suspected that the robbers abandoned the monies and the vehicles on realising that the police were on their trail.
The armed robbers had on Thursday attacked some commercial banks in Uromi, Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo. (vitalnews)
