Troops of the 8 Division Nigerian Army /Sector 2 Joint Task Force North West Operation Fansan Yamma Strike Team have killed 11 bandits and recovered substantial cache of arms in Sokoto.
The troops deployed for counter banditry and terrorism operation achieved this in a bold and tactical operation, conducted near Kurawa Village in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
The troops successfully disrupted a planned attack on Tara Village, a critical area for cross-movement by terrorists and bandit elements.
