Abuja – Activities marking the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s next President on May 29, will kick off with a Valedictory Federal Executive Council Meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on May 18.
The Inauguration Committee headed by Secretary to the Federal Government , Boss Mustapha announced this in a programme of events obtained by vitalnews on Thursday.
The inauguration will also feature projects commissioning by President Muhammadu Buhari or his representative from
May 19 – 23rd.
Other activities lined up for the event is a novelty football match/variety night slated for May 24.
Public lectures are also slated for May 25 while a parade of rehearsal and Night of Praise is scheduled to hold on May 26 as part of the inauguration ceremony.
On May 27, a Pre Inauguration dinner and Award Night will hold while Pre Inauguration and End of Tenure Thanksgiving will come up on May 28.
According to the programme , proper inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will hold as usual at the Eagle Square on Abuja on May 29.
This will be followed with a dinner at the Aso Rock later in the day.
On June 4, Post Inauguration thanksgiving will hold according to the Inauguration Committee.
The Committee then indicated that the inauguration activities will be rounded off with the proclamation of the national assembly by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu on June 5. (vitalnewsngr.com)
