Minna – Some Terrorists suspected to be members of dreaded Boko Haram, have killed five local hunters and abducted many travelers at Garin Gabas in Rafi local government area of Niger State.

The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the terrorists ambushed the hunters who were responding to distress calls.

The Terrorists had blocked the ever busy Minna- Kontagora highway, forcing some of the travellers on the road to make distress calls to the hunters.

The abducted travelers were traveling to Kontagora from Minna, the state capital.

A source close to the town where the incident occurred, said on telephone that the terrorists came in with over 40 motorcycles and took over the highway.
