Sikiru Ayinde Barrister’s Fan Clubs To Hold BarriFest 2024 In Ibadan

Various Fan Clubs of the Fuji music creator, Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, will gather in Ibadan, Oyo State capital for their regular yearly music festival they tagged ” Barry Festival or BarriFest.”

BarriFest 2024, according to Asiwaju Ademola Adesingbin, Secretary of BarryFest, will feature the usual activities that promote good health among the various members of the fan clubs worldwide; friendship, conviviality and unity among the fans of Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (SAB).

The Fuji Music Legend hailed from Ibadan.

Adesingbin, in a statement said the events would commence on Friday, February 9 with posthumous birthday prayers for Dr Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (SAB) at the Muftau Lanihun Mosque, Ibadan.

This, he added, would be followed by the unveiling of a cenotaph built in memory of the music legend at the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The opening day’s activities would be rounded off with a gala night at the Ilaji Hotel and Resort , Akanran, Ibadan.

Day Two of the event is billed for Saturday, February 10, 2024, and will be chaired by the Senator representing Oyo South District, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli while Yeye Adunola Oredolapo Adesuyi will be the chairperson of the day.

The guest speaker will be Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu.

Also, a premiere of the first episode of a documentary entitled Mr. Fuji Barry Wonder by Professor Saheed Aderinto will take place at BarriFest 2024 as well as presentation of awards and recognitions.      (vitalnewsngr.com)
